The B.Tech in Phytopharma was initiated in response to requests from industry partners like Himalaya Wellness, Dabur, and Emami. The course focuses on the entire value chain of the herbal drug industry, covering cultivation of MAPs, authentication methods, extraction techniques, and formulation of medicinal and cosmetic products. Students undergo training in plant tissue culture, secondary metabolite production, and silico drug design.

Additionally, they learn about clinical trial procedures, international regulations, and good manufacturing practices. To stay competitive, the university offers courses in data science, machine learning, and robotics
